Workers who rig cranes and or signal cranes are required under the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) to be qualified. Canadian Crane Rentals offers a Hoisting and Rigging Course.
Course Learning Objectives:
- Identify who is responsible for the various aspects of a crane operation
- Explore current regulations, standards for mobile cranes
- Identify the elements of a site specific crane safety plan
- Explore how to read a load chart
- Cover hazards association with crane operation
